LeadingAge South Carolina, previously Aging Services of South Carolina, was first established in the 1980s as the state affiliate of LeadingAge, previously American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. From only a handful of communities when the organization first began, membership has now grown to include a wide variety of senior living and care communities and providers, as well as a number of Associate Members comprised of businesses and individuals with a special interest in senior care.
